Overview

Ra Mbë Kron Ner was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1232, by Glutshesh Ghibulduc. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Ra Mbë Kron Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ra Mbë Kron Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ra Mbë Kron Ner is is constructed arround a series of broad worn bedrock mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Ra Mbë Kron Ner gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Ra Mbë Kron Ner makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.

Ra Mbë Kron Ner's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is short in Ra Mbë Kron Ner.

The Crawling Hand near Ra Mbë Kron Ner are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Ra Mbë Kron Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves reenactments to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 1 via chanting.
